A nationally known advocate for older adults and the LGBTQ+ Community, Paul received his Bachelor of Arts from Luther College and completed coursework towards his Masters of Divinity at Wartburg Theological. Since 2001, Paul and his husband, Bob, have owned and operated Right at Home Twin Cities and South Suburbs. Paul is a founding board member of Training to Serve, the curriculum for training senior service providers on the unique needs and barriers of the aging LGBTQ+ Community. Paul has trained nearly 10,000 individuals across the country and internationally on LGBTQ+ issues. Paul is treasure of the Minneapolis Area Senior Workers Association and Annual Fall Aging conference as well as President of the Board of Avenues for Youth.
